I have a really noticeable yellow tint stain on all sides of my Surface Book. I spent well over 3 grand roughly a year or two ago on this "State of the Art" machine and now this? I need this fixed - how do I get this resolved? If its past the time limits you still need to fix this issue, I have seen too many posts on this now and it seems like faulty equipment - not something we should have to have already on this machine we invested so much into!!

I too have a happy ending to report. I brought the Surface to the nearest Microsoft Store, and with just a few questions the tech guy, Melo, agreed to a replacement without charge. Kudos, and much thanks to Melo and the management of the store.

2019-08-22T12:57:38+00:00 Has anyone had success in getting a free replacement after when the SB is over 3 years old, without going to a Microsoft store?
I understand that 3 years is quite old, but at the same time, this isn't a 250 $ laptop, it costed like 10 times that much and apart from the screen/battery issues my Surface Book with Performance base is still going strong.
I talked to Microsoft support, they said I had to pay (a high cost) for a replacement since it has no warranty left. At the same time they recommended me to do a backup of all my data and place my Surface Book in a fire safe box and not charge or use it anymore.
So I would really appreciate any help on how to proceed, which "buttons to press" so to say. :) Thanks!
