Yellow tint on Surface Book Screen

I have a really noticeable yellow tint stain on all sides of my Surface Book. I spent well over 3 grand roughly a year or two ago on this "State of the Art" machine and now this? I need this fixed - how do I get this resolved? If its past the time limits you still need to fix this issue, I have seen too many posts on this now and it seems like faulty equipment - not something we should have to have already on this machine we invested so much into!!

I got the same BS as others here in. Took it to an MS store and they want to replace it with a refurbished unit of the same design. I have no interest in returning to the MS store every 12 months with this recurring issue. I dropped nearly 3K on a high end laptop and expected it to be my mainstay for alt least 3 or 4 years. 18 months and the run around is all is all I got for my investment.

Congrats MS, you got me... I won't be back. Too much risk.

    Update on what happened -

I took my Surface Book 1 into my local Microsoft store - they could not have been nicer. I showed them my unit and they replaced my Surface Book 1 with the new Surface Book 2 model with better specs. They told me they would take my old machine to use it to analyze the issue more - ( my screen was bowing out and it had dark yellowing stains). They believe it had to do with the battery behind the screen.

End result was they told me this is their "Flagship" product and they wanted me to have a machine I could use with no issues. I would recommend setting an appointment at their store and they should also take care of you. Microsoft did me great and I am a customer for life.

Well, I tested your theory, after reading this i took my $3k surface book into the Microsoft store here in Tampa and was told sorry you are of luck. i could pay another $600 for a replacement, but if he were me he would learn to live with the yellow lines. Sorry but i will never buy another Microsoft product. They do not stand by there product when it is a known flaw that they are aware of but still sold the machine.  I guess i wish i had went into your store.

I also didn't have such luck.  I was told the same thing as Tim.  $600 with a limited warranty.

Microsoft knows they built some crummy hardwire in these devices and just made a business decision to not stand behind the product and screw their customers.  I recently bought an ASUS computer to replace my Surface.  It will be a long time if ever before I buy anymore hardware from MSFT.
