Yellow tint on Surface Book Screen

I have a really noticeable yellow tint stain on all sides of my Surface Book. I spent well over 3 grand roughly a year or two ago on this "State of the Art" machine and now this? I need this fixed - how do I get this resolved? If its past the time limits you still need to fix this issue, I have seen too many posts on this now and it seems like faulty equipment - not something we should have to have already on this machine we invested so much into!!

    Hi

I finally took my computer to the MS store today and was told "it would cost $600 to replace my computer because it was out of warranty."  They would replace it with the exact same model and also give me a 90 day warranty.  I asked the technician if it made any sense to him for me to pay an additional $600 for the same model that has known issues and with only a 90 day warranty.  He couldn't say anything.  I also asked about trading in my computer for a new one and he told me that they dealt with a third-party company and based on my specs (i7, 16G RAM, 512GB) I would only get $300 after paying close to $3,000 and it's not yet 3 yrs old.  I told him I would keep this one until it died or caught on fire first.

I am very disappointed with Microsoft and I am surprised no one has filed a class action lawsuit.

I too have this exact same problem. Took it into MS store. Was told it was a known issue, but because my Surface Book is out of warranty the cost to fix is $599. Disappointed.

I took mine into the Microsoft Store where I bought it two years ago.  The tech looked at it, said, "You've got burn-in, huh?" and immediately went in back for a replacement.  When she detached the screen from the keyboard and put it down, I noticed it didn't lie flat, and the screen was bulging.  She said the battery was expanding, and it was imperative to replace it - it could be dangerous. She transferred everything she could to the new computer, took the old one and didn't charge me anything.  (I still have to deal with reinstalling all my programs, but at least the machine isn't about to explode!)

I bought my computer from a military base but I plan on taking it to the Microsoft Store to see if they can help me.  I went to the Microsoft Store twice before when I had a problem with power supply kept going out and they were very helpful.  I'll post an update after I go to the store.  Thanks
