Hi Tim
That is great news. It's a shame Microsoft initial gave us a hard time.

I have a really noticeable yellow tint stain on all sides of my Surface Book. I spent well over 3 grand roughly a year or two ago on this "State of the Art" machine and now this? I need this fixed - how do I get this resolved? If its past the time limits you still need to fix this issue, I have seen too many posts on this now and it seems like faulty equipment - not something we should have to have already on this machine we invested so much into!!

The yellow tint makes its appearance on my original Surface Pro till this very day: in fact, I'm admiring that it's not as bright (usually when I'm playing Mortal Kombat 11-yellow tint truly disappears) as seen when in 'Light" mode.
I've pointed it out less than a couple of weeks before my purchase in the store but certainly, the truth is I'm not the only one - it's pretty much a given if you have the original Surface Pro.
Sorry that to hear that it also appears not to be a problem just for the original and I totally agree with OP
I finally got a hold of Microsoft support. The gentleman that i talked to was very nice and accommodating. Although he stopped short of saying they would replace it. He asked me to take my Surface back to a Microsoft store. If they would/could not do anything he would work with me. i agreed and he said he would call me back later in the day to see what happened.
I went to the Microsoft store with my Surface and asked for the manager. he looked at my surface went to the back and told me a tech would be out with a replacement. A totally different experience than i had previously. I am so glad they decided to stand behind their product. Thanks to Orlando at the support center also who reinstalled my faith in Microsoft.
No, I haven't looked further into it since they replaced my laptop for free.
Any further info on the class action lawsuit?
