Yellow tint on Surface Book Screen

I have a really noticeable yellow tint stain on all sides of my Surface Book. I spent well over 3 grand roughly a year or two ago on this "State of the Art" machine and now this? I need this fixed - how do I get this resolved? If its past the time limits you still need to fix this issue, I have seen too many posts on this now and it seems like faulty equipment - not something we should have to have already on this machine we invested so much into!!

Do you see it in the UEFI?

    1. Shut down your Surface and wait 10 seconds.
    2. Press and hold the volume-up button on your Surface and at the same

time, press and release the power button.

    1. The Microsoft or Surface logo appears on your screen. Continue to

hold the volume-up button. Release the button once the UEFI screen appears.

    Hi,

I have a yellow spot on the upper, left part of my display screen.  Does anyone have ideas to solve?  I have a Surface Book 2 that is a little over 1 year old.  The yellow line does not come down the screen but is just at the top.

    Thank you!

    Katherine

I am extremely upset about the way things were handled with my situation. I am a student who goes to school for 8 months. So from September to April I use my laptop and noticed a slight yellow coloring near the end of the school year thinking it was just the lighting in study rooms. I open my laptop again in late September for the next school year and see that the yellowing coloring is all over my screen and I didn't even touch the laptop. I contacted Microsoft, and originally a floor manager named Rony P. told me that he can give me a replacement fee of $350 for the laptop since it's our of the year warranty but its literally been just over a month, I didn't want to pay anything as it isn't my fault and you guys sold me a defective product that only lasts a year. I told him to call back or I'll call back tomorrow for an update to replace it for free for as I wasn't willing to pay anything. He calls my house phone number and I couldn't pick up since I was gone. I come home and try to call customer care again, and apparently this guy doesn't exist and you guys can't seem to find him. I then to talk to customer care all over again explaining the whole issue, and they said that they can't do it for free after 4 days of waiting of an escalation. I tried working with you guys and accepting the fact that you guys weren't going to do it for free and were willing to pay the $350. Then all of a sudden you guys raise the price to $690. This is ****. How the hell every time I call you guys **** keeps getting worse and worse. You guys aren't customer care as in no way you have cared for me at all. Customer care is supposed to work with the customer and yet you guys just keep making it worse. I just want my free laptop replacement as I was sold a defective product and demand an exchange as this isnt my fault at all. There have been numerous reports that this yellow coloring happens in a lot of surface laptops.  Stores aren't even customer care yet they do more for a customer than you guys did in this forum. I will never support or buy anything you guys again if this isn't resolved. There are literal threads of multiple people saying you have replaced this kind of situation with no fee yet for me this has been a battle for 2+ weeks. This is ridiculous. I want to talk directly to corporate or whoever is higher than the highest customer care agent. I want fair treatment and you guys aren't delivering. Terrible customer care, terrible company! Please contact me directly on this issue. This is unacceptable. Every time I have a problem with apple its immeditely resolved. These guys are just ridiculous.

I have contacted MS because a have the same problem with my Surface Book I bought from Amazon. My screen was too bulged that it broke the glass screen protector. In my country there is not a MS Store. However, when I talked with customer service I made it clear that I was traveling to US so I could take my laptop to a store. They asked me to attach some pictures of my bulged screen and the yellow marks. However the answer I received from the Support Agent was to discontinue using my surface and dispose it following a local e-waste process.

I see that you are currently in an unsupported country or a country in which the Surface has not launched. As this is the case, we cannot provide support or service options for your device. We would recommend that you discontinue using the Surface and have it properly disposed of following your local e-waste process. At this time, your case is being closed.

I really can't understand how a top of the line product which clearly has some factory defects has to be disposed in less than 3 years. I feel ofended for the way MS handle it. As I see in the thread its just a matter of luck to get a replacement for a faulty and dangerous product.
