Yellow tint on Surface Book Screen

I have a really noticeable yellow tint stain on all sides of my Surface Book. I spent well over 3 grand roughly a year or two ago on this "State of the Art" machine and now this? I need this fixed - how do I get this resolved? If its past the time limits you still need to fix this issue, I have seen too many posts on this now and it seems like faulty equipment - not something we should have to have already on this machine we invested so much into!!

    Hi Barbara

I also had the first version of the Surface Book, don't give up.  Microsoft Store personnel did not take computer back in the store but offered to replace it at a cost.  After complaining the Consumer Safety folks, Microsoft eventually replaced my computer (with the same version I had).  I had to mail my original computer back to them in a box they provided.

In my opinion, I am having the same problems with the new computer.  It getting hot when I play Facebook games, keyboard and touchpad randomly stop working (I have to restart my computer), and USB port works when it want too.

When I finally decide on another computer it will not be a Surface.

    Good Luck

    Shirley

Well I guess it's time for both of us to get a new laptop.  You know I have a therory about computers.  They have an internal self-destruction device that automatically gives your computer a problem about 4 years...time to get a new one!  Good idea by those computer builders!

Thank you for the advise.  However my surface is one of the first ones made and I got it from the Microsoft store online.   Little hard to take it to them.

Try this... do not call! go to the MS store... turn on your PC that the screen has expanded then ask for the manager! Show them your computer. Per their protocol they must take possession of your computer and then offer a replacement solution immediately because of the danger of explosion. This is what i did and they gave me a new one of the same specs. i have had no issues since. I had also called and even set up an appointment prior to this with no help.
