I am having the same issue. Purchase this surface book abut two years ago and now i am getting yellow discolorations around the edge. I use this device for work and cannot have it fail. Is there anything i can do to fix this issue?

I have a really noticeable yellow tint stain on all sides of my Surface Book. I spent well over 3 grand roughly a year or two ago on this "State of the Art" machine and now this? I need this fixed - how do I get this resolved? If its past the time limits you still need to fix this issue, I have seen too many posts on this now and it seems like faulty equipment - not something we should have to have already on this machine we invested so much into!!

2018-09-17T14:24:53+00:00 I have yellow marks and a white dot and thought that I was seeing things regarding the screen bowing out at me until I read this thread. I'm having the same issue. I have a surface pro 4 going on 2 years now. I hope they can help.

My wife brought my son's Surfacebook into the Freehold NJ store because he lost touch screen usage. I assumed it was simply a driver issue. The clerk saw the slight yellow burn in and then told she needed the $600 repair. I have Dell and HP notebooks that go 4+ years without an issue and this top of the line model will not get past 2 years
Question Are yellow spots around the edges tied to the touch screen not working? My son can live with the yellow, but would like his touch screen use back.
Based on these posts I guess we are lucky to get 2 years on this machine. Scary part is that I bought a second last year for my daughter. We are taking a close look at that screen now and I hope we can get it replaced under warranty.
