I've given up on Microsoft doing the right thing. I dissuade everyone I can from purchasing a Surface product and have successfully diverted at least 50 people so far. more than half of them went mac (as I have, as well). When I walk by a Microsoft store, depending on how bored I am, I may walk in and mess with sales reps nearing a sale and get a potential customer to walk away. I will NEVER buy another Microsoft branded hardware device ever again.
Surface Pro 3 LGC Battery Degradation

It was suggested that I open a new thread for this issue that I am having.
Since the Win 10 Anniversary update, I was not able to turn on my Surface Pro 3 i7 512GB with LGC LGC Battery without having it plugged in with the power supply or docking (I own a total of Three Surface Pro 3 Docks at home and 2 offices). It always said "82%, Plugged in, Not Charging", and would always instantly turn off once I pulled off the power supply tab.
I had spoke with a Technical Agent online, had my Pro 3 remote accessed, did all the proposed solutions, and even had a call from Bellevue, WA (I live in Hong Kong) before I found out that it was a software issue as stated by Microsoft.
With Auto Update turned on, I was notified that I should restart my Pro 3 this morning while I was on the docking station. I was happy that this issue was going to be resolved, but now I am disappointed that this firmware update did nothing for my Pro 3.
I'm hoping that someone out there has some suggestions.
Thank You.

2016-11-07T05:44:21+00:00 While it's good to see a Microsoft response, vague platitudes just don't cut it anymore.
This has been allowed to get to the stage where Microsoft's reputation is being permanently damaged and this WILL translate to sales.
A follow-up response with more specific detail and firm undertakings is urgently needed if the response is to be taken seriously. A lot of time has gone by with NO effective communication. Any idiot knows that is abysmal business practice and courts commercial disaster.
This is 11th hour stuff - please react accordingly and don't bother with vacuous, generalized responses.

2016-11-07T05:55:41+00:00 Unfortunately, by the time a'proper resolution' is available, the SP3's will be 2 years old, and worthless...... My ultimate dream would be for Microsoft to replace them all with HP X3 bundles.... Lol...... Yes, it's a dream lol
