It was suggested that I open a new thread for this issue that I am having.

Since the Win 10 Anniversary update, I was not able to turn on my Surface Pro 3 i7 512GB with LGC LGC Battery without having it plugged in with the power supply or docking (I own a total of Three Surface Pro 3 Docks at home and 2 offices). It always said "82%, Plugged in, Not Charging", and would always instantly turn off once I pulled off the power supply tab.

I had spoke with a Technical Agent online, had my Pro 3 remote accessed, did all the proposed solutions, and even had a call from Bellevue, WA (I live in Hong Kong) before I found out that it was a software issue as stated by Microsoft.

With Auto Update turned on, I was notified that I should restart my Pro 3 this morning while I was on the docking station. I was happy that this issue was going to be resolved, but now I am disappointed that this firmware update did nothing for my Pro 3.

I'm hoping that someone out there has some suggestions.

    I'm still disappointed that the Simplo guys are fine (colleague's Pro3 is fine), whereas us LG battery has our Pro3 utterly useless.

    I have the Simplo battery and my SP3 is not fine! My SP3 is almost 100% dead. It will not stay powered on even with the AC adapter plugged in (and I've tried multiple adapters). It powers on for a short time, then dies without warning.  Tried all MS "suggestions" and nothing changed. I'm so embarrassed by this device because I've spent so much money for the i7 version and it lasted two years under very gentle use and now seems like complete garbage with no support from MS. The words "utter disappointment" now comes to mind every time someone mentions a Surface Pro to me!

    Hello thereeee...

    Do you have our sounds? Our SP3s are useless and MS just do nothing about it... It's embarrassing

    I have a SP3 with simplo battery and the so called fixes hasn't fixed anything. I still have to use mine connected to its charger. I have tried anything from posting in different forums, asking from their twitter account & ... but I haven't received a single useful tip from MS. They just don't care or they think this issue will be forgotten after a while.

    From a 41 page thread they split it into 2 just so it does not look like it's as serious of an issue?

    A 28 page thread should still be important.
