If what you say is correct, and the update bricked, or should I say tethered my tablet, it is disappointing and infuriating that a fix, solution, or communication have not been made available.
I have given up on waiting and have started the process of my Amex extended warranty benefit. I only have two months to be within that time period.
I would have paid the $200 for the battery replacement like Microsoft Surface team had said in writing during the launch of the SP3. But it turns out they were liars. Or Microsoft made them liars.
Of course this goes without saying my faith in Microsoft has been completely destroyed. I just wanted to put that out there.
I will watch this board, but probably wont be posting or actively trying to find solutions for this failure anymore.
