Can I connect my surface Go 2 (via usb-c) to Dell Performance Dock – WD19DCS?

I have two devices a Microsoft Surface Go 2 and a Dell Precision laptop.

I like to switch between my devices simply by connecting the one which I want to use to a usb-c hub.

So, I wonder if I can use Dell Performance Dock – WD19DCS (which has many ports) instead of my Surface usb-c Travel Hub.

You may say that I can test it! I am worried it may damage my Microsoft Surface Go 2.

Thank you in advance for your comments/suggestions.

    Hi again,

I tried to chat online with Contact Us - Microsoft Support once again.

This time, I asked via web browser instead of Surface App, and it worked!

    They replied:

Yes, you can use the Dell Performance Dock – WD19DCS with the Surface Go 2.

but it is advisable to use the Surface usb-c Travel Hub for surface device.
