Surface Studio Crashing when opening Google Meet

My Surface Studio IR camera works fine on Zoom, Skype, Messenger Facetime, etc, until I open Google Meet. All of the sudden both camera sensors started blinking red, the camera image becomes black and white, flashes, and flips orientation, looks straight out of a horror film:

The first few times, I had to uninstall the drive, and restart and reinstall the camera drive to get the camera working normally again. But that doesn't work anymore. When I run diagnosis, it says the camera is working fine, but the camera app cannot detect the camera and gives me the nocameraattached error code. This happens every time I open Google Meet, and Google Meet only. Please help.

Thank you for reaching out Microsoft Community. We're sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.

Since this only happens on Google Meet, what I'd like you to do is to contact the application developer to check if there's anything to be configured on this program or you can check with them if this is commonly happening to Windows devices not only limited to Surface.

For issues happening in third party applications, what we can suggest is to uninstall/reinstall the app and if the problem persists, it's be to have this addressed by the application developer.

I figured out how to reboot the camera through resetting UEFI.

I will reach out to Google Meet but I doubt they would make any changes. For people experiencing the same problem, if uninstalling the device does not work, you can try:

Settings > Update and Security > Troubleshoot > Hardware and Devices > click on Run The troubleshooter.

It would prompt you to restart through troubleshooting, then click UEFI reset, then restart.

As what you have stated, the issue happens only in Google Meet but camera works fine to other apps that needs it. Yes, you can try to disable/re-enable camera features in **UEFI**and check if this makes any changes. If it doesn't do anything, then you have to check with Google Meet support if their app is having some issues like this on other Windows devices and how they go about fixing the problem.
