Hi.
The last month, my surface keyboard (External bluetooth version), keeps loosing connection to my surface book 2, if i have been away from the office, or my Surface book 2 has been in standby..... (I have tried to change the batteries in the keyboard)
When it happens (Which is does many times a day), i have to delete the paired surface keyboard on the surface book.. wait about a minute, and the press the pair button on the keyboard, and pair it with my surface book again. Then i works undtil the nex time it has been in standby or i have been away from the office.... I have han the surface book and keyboard 7 months, and have never been a issue before a month ago. (I have tried to run e driver update, and the bluetooth repair, nothing helps.
They funny thing is, that i have a business partner in another company with the same setup as mine, he told med that he has the same issue with keyboard as i have....
Any ideas what our problem is, and are there other with the same issue???

restarting is the only way to fix it.
i then get the blue screen and QR Code telling me Driver Power State Failure error. After 10 frustrating minutes i can continue to work?
Considering I only bought Microsoft products because I didnt want any connection issues I am very disappointed.
This is basic stuff microsoft!

Exact same issue as all the others. At first I thought it might have been another computer user on the other side of my wall, with a number of bluetooth peripherals. But he and all that machinery is no longer there, and two MS updates ago, the problem stopped. Then, on this last (2nd one of the week) update, the keyboard started acting up again. I can delete it and pair it, or I can just go to "connect new bluetooth", click the bluetooth button on the keyboard, and it reconnects. This happens multiple times a day.

Same issue. Keyboard disconnects many, many times a day. I've found a quick solution, but I still have to do it every time it disconnects:
Keyboard goes back to working until it disconnects again randomly throughout the day.
Just wanted to throw my name out there too. I have the Surface Keyboard and Precision Mouse and the keyboard disconnects constantly or ghost types or keys stick or you name it! Oddly enough it works far better on my Mac Book Pro. Not perfect, but much better.
I may try the newer Modern Keyboard, but have my doubts. It seems the keyboard is going to sleep and doesn't want to wake up. I also notice that it seem to work better if I am right next to the pc. However the normal position is only about a foot away.
Anyway a very frustrating experience!

Same for me... SO very frustrating. You should think Microsoft hardware would work well together - not the case at all!
