Hi.

The last month, my surface keyboard (External bluetooth version), keeps loosing connection to my surface book 2, if i have been away from the office, or my Surface book 2 has been in standby..... (I have tried to change the batteries in the keyboard)

When it happens (Which is does many times a day), i have to delete the paired surface keyboard on the surface book.. wait about a minute, and the press the pair button on the keyboard, and pair it with my surface book again. Then i works undtil the nex time it has been in standby or i have been away from the office....    I have han the surface book and keyboard 7 months, and have never been a issue before a month ago.  (I have tried to run e driver update, and the bluetooth repair, nothing helps.

They funny thing is, that i have a business partner in another company with the same setup as mine, he told med that he has the same issue with keyboard as i have....

Any ideas what our problem is, and are there other with the same issue???

Good question. I think they probably care more about their big sellers than this stupid keyboard. By the way I had send out a complaint about it some months ago....and never heard anything more about it. So also the aftersales service sucks :-( My solution was a new keyboard from Logic (MX Keys) and I did not regret that solution at all! Hope you find the right solution too! Bye bye Regards, Boudewijn

I have considered buying a new mouse (my keyboard attaches to the Pro and so far hasn’t been an issues), but I actually like my mouse, and I just shouldn’t need to buy a new one. It’s so infuriating. I tell everyone who asks about my laptop not to both with a Surface. I love the machine but I have to reboot multiple times a day, often immediately after I’ve first turned it on!

Thanks for the reply. What is especially annoying is that this keyboard is to replace an earlier model MS bluetooth keyboard. It connected with no problems whatsoever, but literally fell apart! So I went into this with really positive feelings about MS keyboards and this new thing has completely eradicated that. MS are back to being the models for corporate greed and lack of interest in customer experience. Bunch of twats really. #microsoft #poorcustomersupport

Why is it that Microsoft do not seem to care about this? They offer no advice or help, yet they have put a faulty product on the market and are making money from it. I have searched all over the place and have not found a fix that works yet.
