Surface Pro 4 - Screen won't wake from sleep

I received my Surface Pro 4 today and it worked fine. I put it on "sleep" for awhile, came back and turned it on. Once again it worked fine. I made an error and instead of putting it on "sleep" I  hit the power button to turn it off when I finished. Now it won't come on at all. The screen stays dark. If I push the power button I can see lights under the keyboard keys, then if I hit the power switch again they go off. But nothing happens to the screen no matter what I do. Has anyone else suffered from this?

It works fine for me after the Anniversary Update to Windows 10 Pro (Version 1607). It no longer goes into a coma.

I just traveled all week. Put my Surface Pro 4 (SP4) to sleep 10 to 20 times each day, and currently my task manager shows the up time to be 7:21:35:21 - 7 days! It is actually working the way I expected it to when I bought it!

It was such a relief to not be scared to put it to sleep during meeting breaks to save battery when working with my Pen and OneNote. For the past 7 months I've had to have it on power when in meetings so that it wouldn't go into a coma. That was always so embarrassing.

You can update to the latest version of Windows 10 by opening Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and selecting Check for updates.

    It seems that it is NOT restricted to Insider builds.

    I have rebooted several times, and have rolled back the drivers with exclamation marks.  It clears the marks but I still get the error when trying to update the Intel Control Logic.

    I really am getting totally fed up with this whole business.  We have been waiting since the 17/Feb updates and now this ...  What on earth is going on?

    With this update, my Surface Pro 4 crashed when installing the Control Logic update, and now repeatedly fails trying to install it with error 0x800f0203.

    The Device Manager views now looks a mess.

    I will see how it behaves, but I am not quite sure what to do now about the updates.  I am running Fast Ring 14316 build, if that is relevant.

    It shouldn't be this hard.

    JeffS33, I had that exact same experience.  I solved the problems in Device Manager by right-clicking each of the three failing devices and clicking "Uninstall" - but not ticking the box to delete the driver.  Then I rebooted.  The issue wasn't fixed - each of the three devices had a different error.  I chose another option - can't remember which one, sorry, but it was an obvious one, and prompted me to restart.  I didn't restart until I'd done all three.  Then I rebooted.

    When I rebooted (shut down, actually, not restart), I was told that the system (firmware) was updating.  When it booted up again, all three devices were working perfectly.

    There's a Microsoft Rep on there who is helping people get the final update to install.  You have to send him a file.  Read the thread and it will be clear.  I sent him my file but he's gone to bed already.

    Try uninstalling the drivers with the delete from device option checked. Then reboot and hopefully it downloads the driver again from Windows Update.

    I can verify, woke from hibernate after sleep this morning. Reason I say that is because the default is to hibernate after 120 minutes of sleep on battery. Put it to sleep last night, so I imagine after a few hours it went from sleep to hibernate, and woke fine this morning. And that's with Excel, Word, Chrome, and a few other things running. Best of all, battery went from 43% to 41% overnight.

    I am again cautiously optimistic, but definitely this is looking good so far. Hope everything tries this, and if I can if it's not working for you, I'll see if I can help. Because I ran the gammut of things tried after 2/17 screwed up my SP4
