Surface Duo 2 0.5 Button missing

The 0.5 button is gone on my Duo 2 and I can no longer pinch the screen for a wide angle shot. The 1.0 and 2.0 buttons are available. I have tried 2 different camera apps and they both have the same issue.

    Sometimes I'm not clear enough. I have no issues with portrait mode, but in photo mose the 0.5x function has disappeared completely. It used to be there. I cannot pinch to less than 1x.

    I was attempting to reply to the original poster, not you <apologies>. Your issue is a different issue than theirs. In either case my Camera app is working as it should.

    You must be a magician... Over the past few days, the disappearance of the .5x button happened suddenly. then the charge indicator on the spine quit working. Then you sent your message.

    I went to take a screen capture, and the damn .5x button was back! As was the battery charge indicator.

    I checked to see which applications had been automatically updated and noticed that Instagram had been. I can't say if there was any correlation, but that is my prime suspect. I had always felt it was a software issue.

    I am having the same issue. I am not sure when it started but deletion of Instagram had no impact. If anyone has any advice please let me know. I did delete the storage and cache for the app and restart my phone but no luck.

    Mine seemed to clear up. I did find that Instagram seemed to be a factor. Do you have any other apps that use the camera?
