My 3 month old Surface Book 3 has developed a small crack in the screen.
The crack is about 2cm long , at the top of the screen in the center above the webcam.
It is an upside down semi circle shape.
Microsoft Support have already told me it will not be covered under warranty.

2021-03-15T16:46:36+00:00 Mine did the same around 3 months after buying. I never took it out of home for lockdown reasons. This is ridiculous for such a price. And the repair will cost around additional 700 €. It's no wonder they have no clients for Surfaces if they treat them this way. I guess it's worth publishing somewhere online that MS declines to admit there's an issue with their top product. I feel really cheated by MS.

2021-03-26T10:28:44+00:00 I've just had the same problem; a curved hairline crack at the top edge to the right of the webcam, and another from this one to the right edge of the screen. It looks like it happened when closing the laptop but I've been extremely careful with it.

2021-03-30T16:46:38+00:00 Same here. I decided to just live with it until the entre screen started coming apart. It's unusable now and there are shards of glass in my keyboard. This seems like a common issue. POS junk if you ask me. Has anyone had success in getting a refund??
