How can this be a Microsoft hosted forum and yet they contribute nothing to the discussion? It's outrageous!
Some acknowledgement? Recognition of the problem? Possible guidance or solutions?

My 3 month old Surface Book 3 has developed a small crack in the screen.
The crack is about 2cm long , at the top of the screen in the center above the webcam.
It is an upside down semi circle shape.
Microsoft Support have already told me it will not be covered under warranty.

My Surface book 3 15' i7 also a couple of days ago while i was working i closed the laptop and heard a crack.
When i opened the lid the screen was cracked around the web camera.
Not dropped or any other damage. Happened by itself.
What can I do with this?
Laptop still under warranty.
Is this covered and how?
Microsoft will reply to say that this has happened as a result of user damage / misuse, and you must pay $800 for a replacement screen....
It's shameless, Microsoft is not a design focused company, it is focused on $$$$
Take the laptop back to Microsoft, shout and cry, don't take no for an answer. They will replace your laptop.
I would say, if they are willing to give you your money back, I would return the laptop and just buy any other laptop from a company who actually make laptops, not from a software maker. I had the same and they replaced my laptop, I was lucky and now I have foam between screen and keyboard
