Surface Book 3 Cracked Screen

My 3 month old Surface Book 3 has developed a small crack in the screen. 

The crack is about 2cm long , at the top of the screen in the center above the webcam.

It is an upside down semi circle shape. 

Microsoft Support have already told me it will not be covered under warranty.

    I have the same problem, 2 cracks from the top of the screen which came after just 1 week of light/normal use, around june 2020. Microsoft support told me that it is not covered by the warrany, and I did not want to pay 700 dollars to repair a brand new product. It has stayed the same for around 1,5 years now, I'm just waiting for Microsoft to acknowledge the problem, and offer me compensation and free repair.

    This is extremely bad customer support Microsoft! Get a grip!

    My computer is 4 months old. It's been sitting closed on the coffee table and at some point overnight it cracked. A $3000 laptop should not be developing spontaneous cracks.

    Hi, did you get anywhere?

    Mine cracked back in October while I was working, I've fought long and hard for any sort of resolution and Microsoft are just not interested.

    I've tried to throw the book at them, as their insistence that I pay to initiate a repair/exchange is infringing on my rights as a consumer according to the UK's Consumer Rights Act.

    I refuse to back down on this. If I have to take legal action I will. This cannot go on.

    One time they give me refub but in refub screen cracked again

    Out of the blue i have also a crack in the screen, it's a sureface book 3 from 8 months old.

    Microsoft says it's damaged bye mezelf ........

    Not happy about it
