yes, same issue last week. Jbhifi told me i have to pay to fix this as it is my fault. 2 huge cracks for no reason. 6 months old surface book 3.

My 3 month old Surface Book 3 has developed a small crack in the screen.
The crack is about 2cm long , at the top of the screen in the center above the webcam.
It is an upside down semi circle shape.
Microsoft Support have already told me it will not be covered under warranty.

2021-10-14T18:57:50+00:00 Had my Surface Book 3 for less than 2 months and it's got a similar crack originating from the metal casing.
Microsoft support apparently doesn't care. Wish I had read these reviews before buying. I'm waiting for a rep to exhaust his resources to see what else he can do and he's promised to connect with me in 24h. I've also e-mailed the CEO of Microsoft, have tweeted at them and will continue to do so, and have filed a complain with the BBB.
