Does anyone else have an issue with the auto pause detection being too aggressive. When i simply readjust the headphones for comfort auto pause often kicks in. What is worse, when they headphone think they have been removed they seem to disable the dials and touch pads making it impossible to unpause until they realise they were actually never removed in the first place.
I would be happy simply turning off this "feature" if that was even an option but sadly it isn't. This makes the headphones unusable in my case. I might return these and try for a different pair incase this is simply a fault. However i suspect it is rather a feature which does not work well.
EDIT: for anyone unaware, as it took me a while to figure out, the on ear detection works on capacitance similar to old touch buttons. Skin must be in contact with the inner part of the ear cup. I imagine this is a nightmare for anyone with long hair.

I'm having the same issues, and it severely reduces usability of the headphones in my opinion. I've created a feedback item for Microsoft asking for an option to disable the detection. Please vote for it and leave your issues there to increase visibility:
Agreed. This drives me crazy. There really needs to be a way to disable this
