Microsoft Modern Wireless Headset won't connect microphone and audio via USB Dongle

The device was installed to my Windows 10 corporate PC, but whenever I'm using the USB Connection on teams, it won't connect the microphone whenever I select the earphone as a speaker device. Example below is for Teams, but the problem happens in every application.

Note: if I change the speaker setting to something other than the headset, microphone will work on a test call.

    Hi Daniel_ZB,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community. Apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you.

Were you able to install the Microsoft Accessory Center app on your PC? if not yet, please install the app and follow the steps provided here in setting up: Set up Microsoft Modern Wireless Headset. After settings up, please make sure to update the headset.

If still the issue persist after updating, please do a hardware reset on the headset following the steps below and set it up again:

    1. Plug in your headset using the USB cable.
    2. Slide the Power button on to turn on your headset.
    3. Press and hold the Answer/end call button for more than 10 seconds. While still holding down the Answer/end call button, press and release the Bluetooth pairing button.
You'll hear a message saying your headset is on and how much battery you have left.
    4. Release the Answer/end call button.

Check this page also in using the headset on Microsoft Teams: Use Microsoft Modern Wireless Headset in Microsoft Teams.

    Kind regards,

    Marrion

I have exactly the same issue and behaviour.
It ONLY manifests itself when the headphones are paired with both the "USB Link" dongle and ALSO with my phone over bluetooth simultaneously. When I have this, the microphone doesn't work over USB Link (ie: in Teams).

When I remove the bluetooth pairing then the headset works.

Note: even switching off bluetooth on my phone doesn't help. I need to actually go into Accessory Centre and unpair the phone.
