6/20 updates do not fix the problem for me. I'm going back to USB/xHCI workaround.

My SB (i5, 256gb, 8gb, GeforceGPU) keeps crashing/freezing during sleep which causes it to shut down. According to the windows reliability monitor it has been happening every day multiple time.
I though I was going crazy because I clearly remember not turning it off before putting it to sleep. I recently had my original SB replaced with a new one which fixed most of the issues from blue screens to flickering that would not go away. But this new one still has the Hello Camera issue where it wont turn on during startup and this new problem that has popped up.
Is this caused by a hardware defect? I really don't want to drive 23km to the other side of my city to get another replacement at a Microsoft store if the issues aren't resolved. Here's an image on the report. As you can see, there are 17 critical events today not to mention all the other days as well. Thanks.
If anyone has a solution that isn't a complete factory reset or system reinstall (I've tried them before) that would be great.

After I properly installed latest updates my SB crashed twice in connected sleep. Both times I had to longpress power button to start it up - this type of crash is back - it was frequent issue in previous update versions for me.
Any of you guys having this type of crashes again?
Also "hot bag" is back for me - to prevent it I have to hibernate SB before putting it in the bag.
All in all, It is better situation than previous version, when my SB was crashing almost each sleep, but my SB still has sleep and power management issues..
It's disappointing to hear about your sleep problems.
I've not had any Sleep/Hibernate problems since June 20th. I've been away from my office using my messenger bag with no overheating problems. Sleep/Hibernate have worked as they should. When in the office sleep has worked for days at a time when connected to the power adapter.
So far I've experienced 18 consecutive days of normal Sleep/Hibernate.
I've recently done a complete factory reset (before June 20th updates), so I should have a clean OS.
I've not changed any of the Power defaults since the factory reset.
The crashing problem has been solved for me with the June updates, however just like you I also have hot bag problems again... I just hope that the anniversary update (and maybe some driver/firmware update along with it) will sort all these problems for everyone.
Things are simply getting worse. Again, I have all of the updates and things were promising but now getting worse.
This is still 100% ridiculous. All on a new Surface Book with all patches.
The June updates do not fix the problems for everyone. I'm glad some of you are better off, but comments stating "it works for me" don't help with the topic, here. It does not work for everyone and nobody at Microsoft cared to get my dumps or work with me (others) to understand this.
I suggest avoiding the Surface products until threads like this one are at least six months old with no updates.
