DId anyone else experience random shutdowns and/or reboots not coming up again after the update may 30 2023? Display showing the option of retrying oder factory reset.
Saw also some postings on reddit regarding this new issue.

Thank you for your patience while we have investigated Surface Duo devices that would restart after the May 30th, 2023 update. The June 26th, 2023 update improves system stability. See Update Surface Duo for more info on how to update your Surface Duo or Surface Duo 2.

Did not solve the Issue. So I suggest to keep yours saved connetions untouched.
What helps temporary is to switch off you wifi when you are about to leave the coverage of your network. If you are in a mesh network switching between the access points causing also crashes (at least in my enviroment and what I read from other users).
Seems to be very situational - for my Duo 2 and my wife's Duo 1 it has worked since applied just after patch day. Peoples millage may vary etc ...
I love my Surface Duo 2, but the latest update has broken this device. It resets constantly. I had to purchase a replacement phone since I relied on my Duo 2 as my daily driver(bought a Samsung product). I cannot stop conducting business while they figure how to release a phone update. Microsoft took a great device and made it unusable. I miss using my Duo 2. Perhaps Microsoft should look into their software verification before they release another update. Most people can't have their phone suddenly become unusable. This will drive them to replace their device with a competitor. It is a shame...
Indeed and is more than likely going to be the reason a foldable from them that looks like a Google Pixel Fold or Samsung will flop too. People will go with the company with the better track record when choosing a device of the same type. The Duo 2 /1 is unique but the handling of a number of patches has been bad on Microsoft's part - almost as if they are pushing people away from the product.
