Hello, I have a surface duo, couple of days ago it had system update, since then it restarts itself, it has a error about android recovery and if it continues to show up I should do the reset factory and erase all the information on it, I did it but sometime it shows up and most of the time it resets itself all of a sudden, what should I do??

    Duo 2 and no VPN.

Think I'm going to try the recovery image when I get a chance today.

Exactly the same with my Surface Duo 1..

After multiple reboots, post update, I reset my Wi-Fi, Mobile & Bluetooth, and the update issue disappeared. After a couple of days, I turned my VPN (Cyberghost) back on again, and within minutes the problem reappeared. I turned the VPN back off, and the problem went away again, and has not returned for a few days now.

When you say "I reset my Wi-Fi, Mobile & Bluetooth, .." what exactly did you do?

Do you mean you mean (my system is german, so I try my best to translate) "Reset WLAN, mobile data & bluetooth" under "System - "Options for reset"?

If so, does this delete all saved WiFi networks?

    Thx!
