Duo 2 has big problems with the last update.

After a complex ritual: vpn off, reset all connections and manual reset to complete the update, the divice has still problems (oa huge battery usage and heating up), but is not in a reboot loop anymore.

But has anyone tried put to set the vpn on again?? With no problems?

    I used the nordvpn app.

I refused the update every time it popped up, but I guess the update occurred overnight without my consent. I haven't had the VPN turned on, but the phone still shut down and became unresponsive twice. After leaving it overnight for the battery to die, I was able to restart it each time. I reset the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth the second time, and I haven't had the shut down in a couple of days now. Today the phone got hot, and it was using battery very fast. I turned it off, let it cool down, and charged it. We'll see how things go from here...

    Now it's getting ridiculous.

It's been 21 days now, no more information from Microsoft has been released.

Our employees are dependent on their phone! We need a date by when the problem will be fixed!

Microsoft has abandonded the Surface Duo. And they have a solid record of leaving customers of abandoned hardware shamelessly behind.

So, if you are using a Surface Duo for your daily business, you should get rid of it as soon as you can. It will only get worse.
