Updated June, 27 2023

Thank you for your patience while we have investigated Surface Duo devices that would restart after the May 30th, 2023 update. The June 26th, 2023 update improves system stability. See Update Surface Duo for more info on how to update your Surface Duo or Surface Duo 2.

Marking as "Answered" for now to raise visibility.

I can reproduce this problem on SD2. Changing to another WIFIor changing the Access Point due Mesh, Location Service stops and the SD2 reboot...

I have also had multiple unexpected reboots on a Surface Duo 1 since this last update - together with the retry/factory reset option mentioned elsewhere.

In fact, I tried to post this comment using the Duo, but it crashed again whilst doing so, and I've had to post it using a Surface Studio 1 (an i7 /32gb premium Microsoft machine, costing thousands, which Microsoft say is not up to the task of running Windows 11..)

Incidentally.. marking a serious problem as 'answered' on here, when Microsoft have clearly not even found the cause, let alone distributed a fix, is both misleading and dishonest.

Agreed, marking as answered while investigating is unhelpful.

I have had same issues, also noted that my google calendar widget was freezing just before the reboot incidents, so I have removed all widgets, turned off wifi. Will see.

I don't use the digital well being so this may be why I hadn't seen this event happening.
