For me it's wifi. Turning that off has stopped the issue. Vpn still runs in mobile data only mode and Bluetooth remains turned on. Fortunately I have large data allowance. I wait MS solution eagerly.

I turned my vpn off, and that seemed to work. But I will need my vpn, so I don't need that to be a permanent solution. I need them to really fix this. Thanks for your help!

Microsoft doesn't seem concerned that the few people that loved this device are more unable to use them in a stable manner. I'm afraid that I can no longer accept this level of poor customer service. Guess when the three fold 5 comes out, I'll need to consider it.

I think everyone needs to put in a warranty claim. The update broke the device, therefore we are all entitled to a replacement, repair or refund. And since the first two are not an option Microsoft needs to give a full refund. Here in Australia our consumer protection system is strong enough that regardless of age, we would be entitled to a refund or replacement. Consumers choice of which one occurs under a major failure.

I think if enough people go through the process of a warranty claim, Microsoft will pay attention.

Yes, but what are you going to do until then with a non/malfunctioning phone?
