Surface Duo 2 - permanent reboots after Update may 30 2023

DId anyone else experience random shutdowns and/or reboots not coming up again after the update may 30 2023? Display showing the option of retrying oder factory reset.

Saw also some postings on reddit regarding this new issue.

Thank you for your patience while we have investigated Surface Duo devices that would restart after the May 30th, 2023 update. The June 26th, 2023 update improves system stability. See Update Surface Duo for more info on how to update your Surface Duo or Surface Duo 2.

    I also went through the huge hassle of "Recovering" my Surface Duo 2 as someone suggested to no avail. Still having the reboot recycling, unpredictable starting and only when plugged in.

    My Duo 2 is dead as a door nail now! It only starts periodically and I can never predict when. If it does boot up, the back of the right panel gets very hot. My phone has been inoperable since June 8th. I was "lucky" enough to get the Duo started once and downloaded the June update, but it has not solved anything for me.

    Too bad. I loved my Duo 2 and everyone was jealous of it. Not so much anymore, lol!

    Getting issues on some apps like FB & Messenger. The screen flickers when trying to delete a message in Messenger. When adding pics in Marketplace, the next button is missing unless you go full duo screen.

    That wasn't my question!

    The problem after the update is that the display diagonal has changed. It is not possible to see the entire display. E.G. - App from Harley Davidson, the lower part of the app is not visible and therefore cannot be used. Furthermore, the app "MS Start" flickers in such a way that there is a risk of getting an epileptic seizure because the advertisements keep pushing forward. This app cannot be used.

    I hope, this information are helpfull and you can these forward to the Microsoft developers.
