Surface 3 4G LTE: "critical" events logged for IA7260 Firmware Update

I have a new Surface 3 4G LTE with Windows 10 pre-installed (purchased 28/10/15 from UK Microsoft Store). It appears to be working smoothly, including the mobile broadband, but from day one Event Viewer has been showing a dozen or so DriverFrameworks-UserMode "critical" events per day, both Event ID 10110 "A problem has occurred with one or more user-mode drivers..." and 10111 "The device Surface IA7260 Firmware Update... is offline due to a user-mode driver crash. Windows will attempt to restart the driver 5 more times..." There's also an associated Application Error ID 1000 for faulting WUDFHost.exe (faulting module ntdll.dll). Despite this, the IA7260 Firmware Update appears in Device Manager (as a hidden device) connected and working under the Surface 3 Modem Device . Presumably the driver is eventually starting so all is more or less well, but it is rather alarming to see the log filling with "critical" errors, and of course the Reliability History rating is pretty much rock bottom. The other (likely) side effect is that Update History shows numerous instances of installing "System Firmware Update - ‎18/‎09/‎2015" - supposedly successfully in each case - presumably this update contains the IA7260 firmware update.

Does anyone else see this issue on the 4G LTE model? And/or any suggestions for remedy? Thanks!

    Use LTE at home and see if it repro's. That MAY determine if the issue occurs when switching between cell towers etc. Getting Microsoft to test outside a lab environment may be next to impossible, but this MAY help convince them.. especially if you can't recreate while at home using LTE.

    OK. Used LTE connection in not moving environment for 2:45 hours non stop. Signal was not too strong 1-3 bars only, but connection was stable. Used internet service in different modes (surfing, download, chat, etc). Not even single disconnection !

    So, it looks like issue happens only in moving environment.

    Ok, so now, about the moving'LTE driver crashes after a while of normal work'.. what exactly do you mean by crash? Error in Event Viewer? And if so, copy and paste the complete error into a reply.

    I have to mentioned - I am testing LTE behavior now in Windows 8.1 pro. I was curious to check, if Win 8.1 might be more stable with LTE connection. However, issue is reproducible in 8.1 the same way.  

    Under 'driver crash' I understand Network module (network icon) becomes inresponsible.

    Mike,

    I want you to try one more thing (on the train) - before you board the train,

    can you go in and DISABLE (as a test) the Marvell WiFi device. Just leave the

    LTE modem active. I need to see this on Windows 10 since my feeling is that it

    is unlikely Microsoft will spend time on 8.1.

    Also, my unlocked LTE came with Windows 10 (NOT PRO) and you mention pro. I'd

    like to see apples and apples please.
