Yes, it's been fixed from the latest update. 5 devices later, I gave up and just kept the phone, knowing it wasn't a hardware issue. So glad I don't have to play background music on silent anymore to keep the phone going.
Surface Duo shutdown when not in use
Hi everbody,
since about two weeks I`m a proud owner of Surface Duo and it's doing really fine.
The only topic I've found: everytime the Duo is not in use for hours (e. g. over night) it shuts down itself.
When it is in use it works proberly.
Does anyone else has such a problem?

2021-06-08T13:56:53+00:00 Hi Johann,
I can confirm this, since the May update the system seems to be much more stable. Only 1 crash, but the system rebootet by itself.
So something has been fixed... for now :)

No shutdown since two weeks on my device.

2021-04-23T05:45:31+00:00 I've already disabled this wellbeing thingy and was full of hope regarding the april update.
But still - the device keeps shutting down even when at rest (for example overnight).
I've not checked whether an existing alert will still trigger (after the device turns itself off) and would turn the device back on.
Still - the device is highly unreliable and I've noticed that Microsoft Launcher crashes more often.
