Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Crackling Sound

I've had my MS Pro 4 for a few days now. Updates are installed and it's working fine. I hear a crackling or arcing sound every once in a while. It even happens when in sleep mode. Should I be concerned or is there an explanation for this?

I have all the latest drivers, I also regularly check if Microsoft issued new ones here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4023489/surface-surface-pro-4-update-history?os=windows-10

    The problem is still there...

    Hi,

Updating the driver and firmware for your Surface device might help. See Download drivers and firmware for Surface.

I have the same issue as well. After fall creators update, speakers pop while in sleep mode. Event manager shows the same warning as posted. This is not an isolated incident. Google this and you'll find plenty of people with SP4 complaining about speaker pops while the surface is on standby. Reinstalling drivers did not fix the problem.

Microsoft, what are you doing about this?
