Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Crackling Sound

I've had my MS Pro 4 for a few days now. Updates are installed and it's working fine. I hear a crackling or arcing sound every once in a while. It even happens when in sleep mode. Should I be concerned or is there an explanation for this?

Anybody have an update on this issue? My SP4 has had the crackling noise for nearly two months and I'm struggling to get answers from anybody.

Diagnostics has been ran 3 times on my device with no findings - Best Buy has looked into the issue but of course I couldn't duplicate the noise for them to do anything about it. I was on the phone with Microsoft for nearly an hour where they ran it and checked out all of my settings. Everything has appeared to be normal and I'm still dealing with the noise.

Going to the Microsoft store on Sunday which is over an hour away... if I don't get help soon I'm done with Microsoft. Even when talking to tech over the phone they make it sound like an isolated incident when clearly there are plenty of us dealing with the issue.

I have had the same problem with my Surface Pro 4! It is less than 1 year old and still under warranty...spoke to tech support online and took it down to the Microsoft store--they could not detect anything hardware or software related.  It is so annoying and I am afraid because this is my 4th Surface--It was a new replacement because I had 3 Surface Pro 3 that suddenly just died...

    What can I do?
