The logo on the kickstand is important to Microsoft purchasers. As consumers of Microsoft products we wish the logo to be seen both as patrons to the Microsoft Surface, and as a necessary cosmetic label. When we purchase quality clothing we wish the label
to be seen as it embellishes and promotes the staus of the purchased product. One would wish the same for the purchase of a groundbreaking Surface.
Microsoft should address this issue post haste by producing the logo sticker or decal for the above purpose. For many of us who had to travel far to attain this product, returning the product for the sake of an emblem on a kickstand of an otherwise good
product may be absurd. An appropriate sticker or decal to place on the kickstand is an appropriate remedy. The Surface is unique. There will be no mistaking a Surface if a decal is adhered to another product. Counterfeit is not an issue, but the satisfaction
of those consumers who believed enough in Microsoft to purchase this untested and landmark product is paramount.
As simple a remedy as this is, it remains questionable as to why Microsoft is lagging on addressing the promotion of a visible label on their product, but moreso, why it hestitates to address such an easy fix for the loyalty of its' dedicated customers.
