Battery drain with Unregistered device SE?

Hi all, 

Lately I've been noticing a large battery drain (at least by my standards) of ~1-2% per hour during connected standby. Based on what's advertised (7-10 days idle) I'm getting ~4 days at best? I ran the sleep study, battery report and energy report and came up with interesting results. I've also calibrated the battery and have no current pending updates. Any ideas as to why the large battery drain during standby? 

Also sorry in advance for the long post. I'm not sure how to post the full reports on this forum.

    Unregistered Device SE is still there, but it does not affect drain any more. But now I have a, "Tegra I2C Controller Driver" eating my battery. See here.It only drains when this appears in the sleep study. Does anyone have a fix, and is Microsoft aware of this new issue?

    Have you tried my fix posted above? It works. Microsoft messed up the factory image for Surface 2 somehow....I had nothing but problems with it, sleep issues, updates not applying correctly and programs crashing.

    That is probably the update support was telling me about because it does actually completely fix the issue. Jon5798's solution stops the battery drain but unregistered device SE is still in the sleep study report. This update fixes it so it no longer shows as keeping the system in an active state during connected standby

    I think that they have finally solved the issue. I have had battery drains overnight in excess of 20%. A couple of days ago however, I noticed an update labeled, "System Hardware Update - 2015-04-28" and a bunch of, "Update for Windows RT 8.1" updates. After installing them, battery drain in connected standby is much lower. In 10 hours, I lost 3% instead of 20%. This has been consistent in the last few days. Hopefully this update will solve your issue as well.

    You should all try installing Windows RT Refresh IR5

    It's worth a shot. I run it...this is my drain for almost 26 hours of sleep with Wi-Fi on and receiving and mail notification..so a full battery should sleep like 15 or so days;
