Surface Pen makes screen flash black

I recently purchased a Surface Go to use for in-class note taking, along with a surface pen. I have been using it for approximately 2 weeks and have noticed an issue when using the pen. Randomly, about once a day when taking notes in OneNote, when I press the pen to the screen, the screen will flash black. Oddly, this only occurs when using solid colors for the the pen and pencil. The highlighter and rainbow colors do not do this. I can fix it by restarting it, but it is an inconvenience. Any ideas what is causing it and how I can prevent it from happening in the future?

Great it worked for selimrecep and Erwin, but it didn't for me, I updated (against the Tablet's (Microsoft's) advice) to Intel graphics driver 27.20.100.9168.  Is that the same one that fixed it for you two? I had previously updated driver/firmware on windows update to 17763_20.020.2886.0. My issue only happens with whiteboard and as others have pointed out, only when using solid not rainbow colours - was that the same for you?
I also have had screen brightness flitting whilst the auto-adjust brightness was set - so have had to disable that.

Actually I don't know Erwin but the issue was same for me, after upgrading drivers it was fixed. Can you use solid colours when ruler is open, though? I was able to do use them when ruler was open.

    If helps:

    Windows 10 20H2

19042.746 (I don't know what is this, I found this on Windows Update)

Intel Iris HD Graphics 630 with 27.20.100.9168 version (seems like same with you)

Gtx 1050 Ti with 461.40 version Driver

Thank you Selimrecep and Erwin for your responses it helps, would be good if Microsoft were as helpful! I am not on Win 20H2 but sounds like updating to that won't make any difference. I am using a surface Pro 7. It's a good tip to switch on the ruler that workaround fixes it for me (in a clunky sort of way) :-)

Hey, WHAT driver did you replace? That might help us as well...

Google intel graphics drivers, and install their automatic updater. In the list you will get 3 updates, just update the Graphics one with the "non OEM" version.

I humbly apologize as I did not return to this post and update my situation. I've resolved this issue a while back and forgot to return to this post to update. Again I do apologize. However I found the solution to be exactly as stated above, I as well updated the Intel graphics drivers which can be found through intel, or the product manufactures websites provide under the support tabs. Although in response To automatic updaters, I have found in some situations where automatic updaters will provide you with drivers that are older then the drivers you currently have installed so please check the driver version information 1st before changing or updating your driver.
