Surface Duo 2 Ringtones

When I try to make a song a ring tone on my Duo 2, it shows in the list, but won't play when calls come through. Anyone else having this issue?

I found the solution not long after I posted the question but forgot to update. The songs I was trying to make ring tones were wma files. It appreas that ring tones can only be mp3 format. I converted them and it worked like a charm.

    Hi tajanes,

    • Can you share more details on the steps you are using to set a song as a ring tone on your Surface Duo 2?
    • Have you tried setting a different song?
    • Do you hear only silence when calls come through? Or does the default ringtone play instead?
    • Is your phone set on 'Silent' or 'Do not Disturb'?
