That didn't work for me.
Surface duo stuck at 3 button navigation
Cannot switch back to gesture navigation after I accidentally enabled the accessibility Menu. I cannot switch back to the gesture navigation enev after I turn off the Accessibility Menu, I tried resetting all app preferences, reboot the phone and nothing works.
Does anyone know how to resolve this? Thanks.

2021-08-17T22:52:46+00:00 I have solved this on my duo. If the magnification button is enabled then it forces the 3 button navigation as the magnification button is shown in the same content line on the screen.
If you disable the magnification button in accessibility then you can go back into system >> gesture settings and select the gesture navigation option.
Bless you for providing a more substantive answer (that works!) than the Microsoft employee's "factory reset."

2021-06-21T18:00:15+00:00 Hello,
We wanted to see if you could verify that the Surface Duo is up to date and then test to see if you can switch to Gesture navigation.
If this does not work we would recommend performing a factory reset on the device after ensuring your device is fully backed up.
