Surface Duo 2 tap to pay using Google Wallet stopped working

Tap to pay using Google wallet when connected to an approved credit card is no longer working. The issue presented in the last few days prior to the security update. I've used it flawlessly for many months on this phone and now it refuses to work, it simply vibrates when tapped to a terminal. Not sure if it's google or microsoft in this instance but it's unlikely my bank after having spoken to them it seems to be more likely one of the former. Other Duo owners are reporting the same issue. Note that my loyalty cards still function OK with NFC Google wallet. I'm in Australia.

Thanks but I have already done this, shared the file with msft support via onedrive about a week ago. Just so you know the bug report is of a size that can't be uploaded here and the earlier suggestion included reporting the problem to support and sharing it there. Have you read the other posts in this thread?

Do you have an update on this issue? It is now three weeks since Google Wallet stopped working and the problem has not been acknowledged by Microsoft or Google. The update that caused this issue has effectively "bricked" our phones and caught many of us off guard unable to pay for goods and services. Please provide an acknowledgement and update.

Yes this is now getting ridiculous, we just received a small update that was once again late. It appears so small it's likely only a security update. The NFC and other issues continue to persist. Why is it taking so long and why have there been no answers or eta on the fixes?

I was in the microsoft experience centre in sydney yesterday and have had them report the issues too. Their opinions were the same as mine Microsoft needs to do better with support and communicating what's happening with Duo.
