Surface Headphones 2: Is it possible to listen to music and be in a call at the same time on the same device via bluetooth?

Hello, I've been using the Surface Headphones 2 and am generally satisfied with my purchase. However, one of the biggest annoyances with them is that it seems to be impossible to be and a voice call and listen to music at the same time while in bluetooth mode. When I use the headphones for any application which utilizes microphone input (Skype, Zoom Discord, etc.) then I can only hear audio from that application. This is only an issue when the headphones are in bluetooth mode, meaning the problem can be worked around by using the headphones via wired connection. While doable, this is frustrating given that I purchased bluetooth headphones yet I cannot use them as I'd like in bluetooth mode. 

To my knowledge, the headphones have two output profiles, "Stereo" and "Hands-Free." As I understand the issue, voice calling uses the Hands-Free profile and all other applications use the Stereo profile. The headphones seem to be unable to utilize the Stereo profile when already utilizing the Hands-Free profile, thus my problem. If this is accurate, is there a way to switch the output device for my non-voice applications to the Hands-Free profile when the headphones utilize it?

When I go to my sound settings, the Hands-Free profile is not an option as one of my output devices. However, it does appear when I click on "Manage Sound Devices." I can even test it and hear the tone. Images shown below:

    This does not address my original question. I would like to be able to hear music (or any audio from other applications) and take a call simultaneously. Currently there is no clear way to do that with the surface headphones while over bluetooth

    I've hit the same goddamn issue a few days ago. This started after that 20H whatever Windows 10 update.
