Duo 2 Android 12L breaks calling

Since the Android 12L update, I have not been able to make or receive calls. Incoming goes straight to voicemail and outgoing immediately ends calls. Carrier is T-Mobile. I suspect the issue is the same at what happened with the AUS phones as listed here Android 12 Breaks Calls — ZenTalk (asus.com)

This required an update to get the calls working again. Is there such as update in the works as right now my due 2 is just a tablet that cannot make calls.

Everything else works btw even calls with WhatsApp and teams

My service is through Mint Mobile, and they said that they don't offer an eSIM option. So I'm out of luck on that one.

That's what I was afraid of. I guess I'm SOL until T-Mobile fixed this.

I hope someone fixes it fast, I have an unlocked surface duo 2. I pay my carrier (bell Canada) a lot of money every month to have an international plan, that does not work, who will fix and co tact the owners of these phones.

I have a bell Sim card and a t mobile Esim, only works in areas with 3g coverage.

Therefore, android and or Microsoft need to fix there product and quickly, I haven't been able to use my phone in the US since I bought it (sorry, it will work if there is 3g service where you are)

I love the device it is fantastic, but I need a phone when I travel

    Thanks for letting me vent

    Wayne

I did have issues where I was unable to answer incoming calls and other issues related to 12L update or since I updated to 12L. Now I did reset my Wi-Fi, mobile and Bluetooth about a month ago I have not had any issues with my Duo 2. At least for me that has fixed the issues I had with 12L update on my Duo 2 on T-mobile . I have not had issues since the reset.

    Setting>System>reset option>reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth and restart Duo 2.
