Duo 2 Android 12L breaks calling

Since the Android 12L update, I have not been able to make or receive calls. Incoming goes straight to voicemail and outgoing immediately ends calls. Carrier is T-Mobile. I suspect the issue is the same at what happened with the AUS phones as listed here Android 12 Breaks Calls — ZenTalk (asus.com)

This required an update to get the calls working again. Is there such as update in the works as right now my due 2 is just a tablet that cannot make calls.

Everything else works btw even calls with WhatsApp and teams

Per prior replies, all the same with me. Soft / hard resets, etc. No custom TMobile setup. Wifi-calling on or off doesnt matter. Put SIM in another phone and that phone works just fine. I opened a case with MS Surface Tech Support and they are replacing the device. BTW - someone how I got locked out of my Google backup in addition so I could not even restore backup on hard reset which really sucks.

    Hi Jerry

I submitted feedback with a bug report. Also opened a support ticket. I've tried the following:

    1. Factory reset
    2. Took phone to T-Mobile to try different sim card
    3. Uninstalled/reinstalled phone app
    4. Installed different phone app
    5. Installed recovery image (is there an image that would allow me to downgrade back to Android 11 ? )

Texting and all other Internet functionality works, just can't make or receive phone calls. Phone worked up until I did the Android 12 update.

    Thanks

    John
