Duo 2 Android 12L breaks calling

Since the Android 12L update, I have not been able to make or receive calls. Incoming goes straight to voicemail and outgoing immediately ends calls. Carrier is T-Mobile. I suspect the issue is the same at what happened with the AUS phones as listed here Android 12 Breaks Calls — ZenTalk (asus.com)

This required an update to get the calls working again. Is there such as update in the works as right now my due 2 is just a tablet that cannot make calls.

Everything else works btw even calls with WhatsApp and teams

With these other provider networks being reported, it does look as though maybe some central infrastructure component(s) that they use in common could be showing up some incompatibility in the 12/12L Android update?

However, I have 2 LG G8X ThinQ phones that have been on that version with AT&T (US) for months now with no such issue, so the plot deepens...

Phone rings but screen does not show incoming call thus unable to answer incoming call. Incoming call GUI does not appear on the screen while phone is ringing. This happens when surface duo screen is left open while performing another task.

For those of you that have reported that incoming calls are going directly to voice mail and that outgoing calls are ending immediately, if you are willing, we would be interested in getting an Android bug report from you before trying some potential steps that might help.

To generate an Android bug report, follow the steps here to submit feedback to Microsoft and then reply to this thread or send a private message letting me know that you have done that:

Send feedback to Microsoft with the Feedback app on Surface Duo
