Duo 2 Android 12L breaks calling

Since the Android 12L update, I have not been able to make or receive calls. Incoming goes straight to voicemail and outgoing immediately ends calls. Carrier is T-Mobile. I suspect the issue is the same at what happened with the AUS phones as listed here Android 12 Breaks Calls — ZenTalk (asus.com)

This required an update to get the calls working again. Is there such as update in the works as right now my due 2 is just a tablet that cannot make calls.

Everything else works btw even calls with WhatsApp and teams

Woke up this morning to a system update, and had high hopes that the problem was fixed. It is not.

Can we please have a DTS to this issue??

I was able to get phone calling (incoming / outgoing) resolved using the SIM change procedure. In my circumstance, I replaced the T-Mobile SIM with one from Verizon etc. However, this has resulted in a new challenge battery life. Prior to the 12L update, my battery life was 8 to 12 hours. Now with 12L and phone calling resolved the battery life is measured as 6 hours or less which is a significant step backwards. Hoping MSFT has a resolution for battery life being readied for a November 2022 release.

I did the same thing just yesterday (11/14), and my phone worked fine the rest of the day, but again today at around 2pm, it stopped working again, and I had to switch the SIM, power on, power off, switch SIM again, etc., to get my phone working AGAIN.

I'm desperately hoping this isn't going to be a daily requirement...

Since the 12L upgrade, the phone breaks up during phone calls and will eventually kill the call. Sometimes it doesn't complete the outgoing call or doesn't ring for incoming calls and goes straight to VM. My SIM is ATT and I find that the problem is particularly bad when on 5G. Can I roll back to 11?
