Slow Wifi with brand new Surface Book 2!!!

I am so beyond disappointed!! I bought one of the most expensive versions of the Surface Book 2 (i7, 15 inches, 512 GB) and it its wifi connection is only half the speed of my old i5 and i3 laptops!!! IT IS UNACCEPTABLE for the price I paid (almost 3000 dollars for the computer, and if you add accessories and extended warranty, more than 3600!!).

I have tried everything: resetting the network, reinstalling the wireless adapter drivers, resetting windows from scratch...everything!. I have a 100 Mbps connection at home and all my laptops and smartphones get wifi speeds around 45-50 Mbps, but the SB2 gets 20 Mbps and most of the time it does not even get to 10 Mbps.

I have been reading many other testimonies online of people experiencing the same. I feel scammed. 

Not only that, it also seems that there is some kind of incompatibility with the design software I use (Sketchup and Vray). They work flawlessly in my older computers. They crash all the time with the Surface Book 2.

Seriously thinking about returning it. They pull you in with the shiny exterior, but it is a substandard product.

    Will spend some time and file a report with Feedback Hub about the power. Hopefully it picks up something useful.

    I had to return my surface book 2 15" due to wi fi dropping out there is a fault with these units. The question is are microsoft aware and are they doing anything about it.

    same issue for me.  my macbook pro 2017 hits over 500 mbps as well as my iphone and windows desktop. my surface book 2 barely hits 100 mbps. All this money for a laptop and it can not hit full speeds.  I tried on chrome, edge, and the ookla windows 10 app.

    I used the feedback hub to report to Microsoft. Filed under this title: "Surface Book 2 wifi affected by power connection"

    Anyone else with this issue, please upvote and/or file your own issues so that Microsoft recognise the the wifi issues are widespread :)
