Slow Wifi with brand new Surface Book 2!!!

I am so beyond disappointed!! I bought one of the most expensive versions of the Surface Book 2 (i7, 15 inches, 512 GB) and it its wifi connection is only half the speed of my old i5 and i3 laptops!!! IT IS UNACCEPTABLE for the price I paid (almost 3000 dollars for the computer, and if you add accessories and extended warranty, more than 3600!!).

I have tried everything: resetting the network, reinstalling the wireless adapter drivers, resetting windows from scratch...everything!. I have a 100 Mbps connection at home and all my laptops and smartphones get wifi speeds around 45-50 Mbps, but the SB2 gets 20 Mbps and most of the time it does not even get to 10 Mbps.

I have been reading many other testimonies online of people experiencing the same. I feel scammed. 

Not only that, it also seems that there is some kind of incompatibility with the design software I use (Sketchup and Vray). They work flawlessly in my older computers. They crash all the time with the Surface Book 2.

Seriously thinking about returning it. They pull you in with the shiny exterior, but it is a substandard product.

    BTW, the related issue is very very slow wireless connection to TV with Intel Miracast module (even when I use Microsoft's WIreless Display Adapter too). So I can't use the SB2 for presentations.

    I sympathise they did the same to me. In the end they just stop talking. They give you a tracking/problem number and then you hear no more.

    I'm wondering if some of these WiFi issues are caused by the KNOWN USB 3.0 and
    2.4GHz interference problem. See

    as an example.
    I don't know if you see issues on both 2.4 and 5GHz. I keep sending in these
    threads, but don't hear anything back.

    I believe this is the solution. I fixed the problem by turning off 2.4GHz. If you must use 2.4GHz, make sure you do not have any cheap USB 3.o cables or devices attached.

    Its possible but my tiny little phone uses USB3 and has no issues getting full speeds on either 2.4/5ghz WiFi so I would question why Microsoft can't build a computer that works right. They should've caught it in testing if it is in fact a hardware / interference issue.
