Slow Wifi with brand new Surface Book 2!!!

I am so beyond disappointed!! I bought one of the most expensive versions of the Surface Book 2 (i7, 15 inches, 512 GB) and it its wifi connection is only half the speed of my old i5 and i3 laptops!!! IT IS UNACCEPTABLE for the price I paid (almost 3000 dollars for the computer, and if you add accessories and extended warranty, more than 3600!!).

I have tried everything: resetting the network, reinstalling the wireless adapter drivers, resetting windows from scratch...everything!. I have a 100 Mbps connection at home and all my laptops and smartphones get wifi speeds around 45-50 Mbps, but the SB2 gets 20 Mbps and most of the time it does not even get to 10 Mbps.

I have been reading many other testimonies online of people experiencing the same. I feel scammed. 

Not only that, it also seems that there is some kind of incompatibility with the design software I use (Sketchup and Vray). They work flawlessly in my older computers. They crash all the time with the Surface Book 2.

Seriously thinking about returning it. They pull you in with the shiny exterior, but it is a substandard product.

    Thank you, but I wished this work. It does, but the wi-fi eventually slows down. Next time you reboot it is "broken."

    This all started the third week of December between the 21st and 28th. I had not used my Surface during that time. When I turned it back on December 29 the problem started.

    Happens on all wi-fi networks. Ethernet is fine. All updates have been installed.

    After a windows update I received last week, my wireless does not work upon coming out of hibernate. I never had this issue before. It looks like it is connected, says its connected, shows good signal but zero internet. I have to manually disconnect and reconnect and then it is back to normal.

    It's a real PITA to fix, but this will do the trick; (LC - left click, RC - right click)

    RC Wi-fi symbol on the status bar and LC "open Network ...."

    LC "Change adapter options"

    RC the connected Wi-fi 

    LC "Properties"

    LC "Configure"

    LC "Advanced"

    LC "Band" and from the drop-down on the right LC either 2.4 or 5 (De-select "Auto") depending on what your router does.

    LC "OK" and close the various dialogues.

    RC the Windows start button 

    LC "Device Manager"

    Open the "Network Adapters" collection

    RC the Marvall Wireless adapter

    LC "Uninstall device" (I know, I know)

    DO NOT DELETE THE DEVICE - Just uninstall it.

    Restart your SB 

    The driver will magically reinstall upon reboot and all will be well.

    This issue just hit me after Christmas. Wi-fi speeds are horrible. Anyone had recent success fixing their SB?
