Taking a picture on a site vs uploading files

Hello,

When I am on a website trying to schedule an appointment, it asks me to upload my ID cards. When I'm on my iphone or android and click it, I get options to either choose from file, upload picture OR take picture.

When on the Surface Go - I dont get these options and it takes me straight to my folders to upload an already saved image.

Is this a microsoft/windows issue compared to Apple/Android? Or a development issue on the site?

    Hi Lauren!

Thanks for reaching Microsoft Community. We're here to help and let's work on this together.

May I know which site are you trying to upload a picture?

This can be an operating system compatibility with the browser, I highly suggest you take a picture first of the document before uploading it.

Thanks again for choosing Microsoft. Hope this helps!

    Regards,

    RodelioP.

I am trying to find out how to view your private message. I do not want the site on here. However I need to be able to take a picture vs uploading a file so I am wondering if that can be resolved somehow (This is work related)

    Hi LKimpel!

Thanks for getting back to us!

Unfortunately, if this is an issue with compatibility, we won't be able to get this fixed as this has to do with your company's website compatibility as well.

    Thanks again for choosing Microsoft!

    Regards,

    RodelioP.
