Surface 4 Pro screen bulging at lower left edge and separated from the frame

I have a Surface 4 Pro that I purchased in March 2016. Over the last few days, I was seeing a considerable color bleed on lower left edge of the screen. Then I stared noticing that that type cover does not seem to close flat against the screen. On closer inspection, I found that the screen is bulging (curving out) on the lower left side and the screen edge has separated from the frame, exposing a gap, Some of the circuitry inside seems to be pushing out as well from what I can see through the gap, indicating something inside is exerting an outward pressure. I pushed the screen back in and with a little pressure it got flattened. However, after a few minutes use, the screen bulged out again. There is no physical damage to the screen, the bezel or the device in general, no cracks or scratches.

What is causing this and what is a possible solution?

    I had my Surface Book exchanged out no charge by Microsoft and I am happy with their response.

    Hello!

    I've been Microsoft follower and used all Microsoft devices right from SP4 to Lumia 950.

    After the collapse and no support for the Windows Phones, seems SP4 was also a bad buy.

    I'm concerned about such a high investment in this device. 

    There's absolutely no trouble with this device I have been using since May 2016, except for the flickering screen and now the same screen is bulged out and has come off the bracket. I've shared the issue with Microsoft Support and awaiting their revert by Wednesday.

    I didn't call. I went to support.microsoft.com/devices, logged in to my Microsoft account, and it showed my Surface Book, which I had registered. I then followed the repair links, and one of the pull down choices was bulged or warped screen. I selected that and it created a case. They emailed back, and I believe they called me to get more information, including the picture I posted. They opened a case and sent a special package that can handle a fire or explosion, and I returned it to them in McAllen TX via UPS Ground. When they receive it, they have promised a refurbished computer of a similar spec - I have a high-end machine.

    Microsoft isn't very good with customer service and their unlisted numbers and/or trouble getting through. It worked much better via the web and email. My store told me to approach it online with MS.

    I have this exact issue and just ended a horribly frustrating call with support. The agent was obviously following a script, wanted to do some troubleshooting with me. Troubleshooting? What, he thinks running a patch is going to magically fix the issue. The guy wasn't listening to what I was saying and told me the only option if I didn't want to follow through with his support was to go into a Microsoft Store. Frustrating. Where did you guys get your excellent support? I need that phone number....
