(July 2019) The extended warranty was mentioned to me by the customer service person who took my claim, but the warranty people flatly said no. Oh, and they "communicate" with you via "email" after they tell you not to use the "defective" computer. yeah right! So, after consideration, I just bought a new i7 computer. another $2,000! IF you are planning taking any legal action, or an attorney is opening a "class action suit" against Microsoft for this battery surface pro 4 issue, please include me. I still have my computer (surface 4) and will keep it just incase legal action will be taken in the future. If enough of us ban together, perhaps we can get just compensation. Michigan.
